Buying peptides for research: what should you look out for?
When buying research peptides, look out for four things: verified purity, a batch-specific certificate, traceability to the batch number, and reliable delivery within the EU. Research materials are only useful if you know exactly what is in the vial — and you can only be sure of that once an independent laboratory has analysed it.
Purity is determined using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), which separates the components of a sample and shows what percentage is actually the target peptide. Mass spectrometry then confirms the molecular identity and the exact molecular weight. Without these two measurements, a purity claim is nothing more than a figure on a website.

How much does a research peptide cost?
The price of a research peptide is determined by three factors: the scale of synthesis, the purity threshold and the independent laboratory testing carried out on each batch — not by the size of the vial alone. A longer amino acid chain is more complex to synthesise, and every additional percentage point of purity requires extra purification steps. This accounts for the bulk of the price difference within a product range.
You should therefore never compare prices based on the price per vial, but rather on the price per mg: divide the price of the vial by the number of milligrams it contains. A 10 mg vial costing €99 works out at €9.90 per mg. This way, you can see straight away that a cheaper vial with a smaller content isn’t automatically better value. The price per mg is calculated and displayed on every product page, alongside the contents and availability.
If a product is significantly cheaper elsewhere, the difference almost always lies in one of two things: lower purity, or the absence of a batch-specific COA. These are precisely the two variables that determine whether your research is reproducible. With a bundle, the saving can be as much as 15%, and above a certain threshold, delivery charges are waived — see below.
Peptide blends and mixes
A blend combines two or more peptides in a single lyophilised vial, so that they are reconstituted together rather than separately. In research, this is practical when combinations are studied as a whole; the total quantity in a blend is the sum of the individual components, which means that the price per mg is calculated slightly differently than for a single peptide.
The range includes, amongst others, the TB-500 + BPC-157 Wolverine blend, the CJC-1295 no DAC + Ipamorelin blend, and the broader KLOW and Glow blends. CJC-1295 no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) is also available separately.

LYSENTA charges €9.95 for delivery within the EU, and delivery is free on orders of €150 or more. Parcels are sent via PostNL, are discreetly packaged and come with a tracking code; a parcel is usually delivered within 1–3 working days. Each consignment is accompanied by a batch-specific certificate linked to the batch number on the label. Lyophilised peptides are stable enough at room temperature for transport; upon receipt, store them in accordance with the storage instructions on the product page — typically at −20 °C for long-term storage.
